Hello from Newfoundland, Canada

  1. My name is Jamie Gidge and I live in a wild game and fish paradise Newfoundland, Canada.  I love to fish and hunt so I thought I'd give smoking a try since I have an abundance of wild game and fish.  I am newer then new to the art of smoking so I'm looking forward in an advice and secret recipes.  I recently purchased a new Bradley digital smoker that I'm trying out today for the first time.  The moose is marinating and if it's a failure then I'll feed it to the dog, if the dog don't like it then you may notice a new, slightly used, smoker for sale.

Welcome aboard, Jamie!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Just ask when you need help and someone here will have the answer.

Hello fellow Canadian and Bradley owner.

Jamie, I bought my Bradley last fall and started smoking. I had limited success until I found this forum. The members are very generous about sharing their experiences and answering questions.

One of the ways I learned the most was posting pictures and descriptions of my projects. I received suggestions and new ideas.

    Welcome to SMF.
