Just discovered the forum- I recently built a masonry pig cooking pit in the backyard and wanted to share. I'm not versed in smoking, just enjoy cooking whole hog from time to time. Raised in Maryland, but NC resident now for about 25 years, and enjoyed BBQ ever since I arrived in NC. Just posted in the Brick Smoker forums, will post an update on my first pig in the new pit, planning on Thanksgiving!
