Hello from Mouse Country(Central Florida that is)

I just joined but have been grilling for years but just really got interested in smoking. My wife is getting me a Charbroil offset smoker for Xmas.. It should be here next week. I still have to wait till Christmas Eve to use it.....................Bummer!!!!! I live in Longwood, Florida and have worked a Walt Disney World for almost 30 years(30 in July 2012). I work in Entertainment at Epcot. Anything else you want to know just ask.

I think you need to sneek out to the garage, pull your new smoker out, get her fired up and start cooking.  She'll understand.

Thanks. After I asked that I connected what it meant. BB(Q)view. I plan to smoke a prime rib and make Yorkshire pudding for Christmas. I will post how it turned out on Xmas day.

Not really I work more backstage and don't hear it much. But you do get desensitized to it after awhile and tune it out. Flash I have gotten used to it and don't stress that much about the traffic anymore. I usually take the toll roads around rush hour. I also don't live right inside Orlando. Longwood is a nice place to live. Before that we lived in Altamonte for four years.

Well Prime Rib is out. I went and priced it today at a local butcher shop. At 12.99/lb I think I will cook something else. Any suggestions.

 LOL, glad you can survive. Had a girlfriend that lived at I-4 and 434 area. It was the pits. I was in Winter Park around Lakemont and Aloma area.
