~~Hi, my name is Michael & I live in Jacksonville, FL. I primarily use a Brinkman all-in-one or large grill (propane heat source for both). I have a hickory tree that drops plenty of hickory nuts, so that is the wood I usually use for smoke. I have been smoking for about 2 years but am definitely a “beginner”. I feel I do a pretty good job with poultry & ribs but need work on larger cuts of meat. Also, I’m comfortable with brines but injecting is another story.  I'm looking forward to becoming part of this community.

Hi, my name is Dean and I live in In Victorville CA up in the high desert.I just bought Brinkman electric smoker,I have not tried in out yet and I'm new to smoking and I'm looking forward to becoming part of this community I and hope to start sharing experiance with my With this smoker soon.

Welcome. Always had a theory those hickory nut shells would make some very nice smoke...but never had none to experiment with. Know the best smoke on a pee can tree comes from the nut shells..so it just stands to reason huh?

Hey Dean..welcome. Know you will grow to love that little electric Brinkmann much as I do mine. I know the habits of the critter if you ever need any tips..lol.
