Hello from Dayton, Ohio! I'm New to the Forum, but have been referencing it for a while.=)

Hi I'm mike & I'm a meataholic =)

Last week I purchased a MES 40" got it all seasoned up & am ready to break it in today, with a pork loin, then later this week I'll be smoking a 10lb bone in Pork shoulder for some shredded sandwiches.

I've been wanting to get a new smoker for a couple years now, i've been using a brinkman charcoal & wood smoker & it just takes to much effort to maintain temp in the winters here in Ohio.

I did a lot of research before picking out the MES 40", & got a good price on it off EBAY (Even though the shipping label said sams club on it....LOL)

A little bit about me: I used to be a Ford Technician at a large Dealership for 14 years, then at 37 years old my hips started to crumble do to genetics, soccer & skateboarding (hip dislocations) when I was younger. anyways. so, I had both my Hips replaced & a year later the parts they put in me became loose & the FDA put out a message, "If you have Z****** D***** cup implants, you may want to see a dr. due to problems with the product" LOL long story shortening here..... I had to have my Hips Replaced for a Second time, Sued the Hip Part manufacturer, Started my own Social Media Marketing Company & am living happily ever after....LOL
