Hi, my name is Logan from Texas. I've been smoking meat now for the past three years. After graduating from college I got my father involved in my new hobby. We smoke on a heavy Lyfe Tyme 16" with a vertical chamber it is not without it's flaws but gets the job done. Since we use a stick burner I prefer post oak and pecan as my heating sources. We mostly do pork spare ribs which are personally my favorite. Also are working on our brisket recipe which so far we have produced pretty decent results, but only can be perfected through more trial and error. I am excited to be part of a community of people who share my passion and fascination with a form of cooking very unique to the United States.
