I'm new to smoking meat and using my vertical brinkmann smoker I'm having problems with keeping temp.. All help is welcome thanks.. I'm from Cleveland ohio

Is your Brinkmann electric or charcoal? Also may help to use the search looking for "Brinkmann mod" or "ECB mod" as I know there are many modifications out there to improve performance of smokers like yours.
