Glad to join SMF. I live in SW Louisiana where food and socializing are big parts of what we do. I got my 40" MES about a month ago, so I'm pretty new to smoking. I've been using some of the threads (espeacially bearcarver's step by step index) already to try to avoid rookie mistakes. I look forward to using SMF as a source of info/ideas as well as hopefully sharing some successes.
