Hello all......first smoke

  1. Hey All, Hoss from Regina Saskatchewan Canada here. I've been creeping SMF for a while but have never posted. I just received 2 smokers for Christmas. A MES30 and a Masterbuilt gasser. I have an AMNPS and will be modding both smokers in the near future. Planning on an under burnermount on the gasser and a mailbox mod on the MES. Thoughts?

    Today I am working on my first smoke, bacon wrapped meatloaf.I used 2 pounds of ground beef, a couple eggs and whatever else sounded good to the boss.

    I put it in the MES at 240°....hopefully it works out as it is -20

    Here it is all wrapped up...

    I will post progress pics and the finished product.

    That is a fine looking meatloaf!  Don't open the door very often, -20 will suck out any heat ya got in there.  Happy smoking!

  5. Heres the final product at anout 4.5 hours. I let it go a little longer than I should have but it still turned out better than I expected.
