Hawthorne Berry wood? I had a guy give me some. He said he used it to smoke some salmon and loved it.
Thot I'd check before I ruin a good piece of meat with some nasty smoke.
All comments welcome.
Thanx

Haven't ever smoked with Hawthorne Berry wood.....nor have I heard of it being smoked with before. I would suggest trying a test burn.....if the smell from the smoke is agreeable to your nose...chances are it may make a good smoking wood. Maybe even try it on something less expensive than Salmon...say, some chicken?

One other thing, do us all a favor here and head on up to the Roll Call and introduce yourself all nice-n-proper.....type of smoker...experience...where yer from...etc.....we're kinda nosey like that....
