just picked up a masterbuilt 30" 2 door propane smoker and been lurking in the forums for reviews/mods.

Already chucked the POS chip tray and modified a cast iron frying pan...much better.

Still trying to get the temperatures down below 200 but that's becoming a frustration.

Looking forward to taking in all the great info on this forum

Welcome to the site!  Glad ya joined us.  I've read that the propane smokers need a needle valve mod to get those lower temps.  I'm not a propane smoker, but lots of folks here are.

Welcome.

Don't want to disappoint you but that is easier said than done. Two door is a good smoker but for fish...not so much. Maybe whole fish, but filets I couldn't get them as good as I wanted them. Got a big chief after that and solved the problem. Needle valve might help but then you will need a source for smoke (a-maze-n). Good luck.
