Got my UDS started this weekend!!

    got a few more things to put in... then for the seasoning burn....

    Got a kool paint idea.... look for more pics!!!!

    Burned her yesterday am... started paintin yesterday pm.... just got the touches on her tonight... got some touchin up to do....

    How much space you got under your charcoal ring, need at least 3" for ashes.

    I'm pretty close to that....prob... 2.5 in. the paint is all high temp engine paint... i'm hoping it doesnt get killed by the heat!! i didnt strip the green drum paint off first... prob. should have.... burned some off... but we'll see

    gonna wire wheel the inside and heat her up again....

    her name is Ole Glory!!

    Cant wait to smoke some stuff up in her!!

    Yea.... been seein yours on here and Gramasons at his place.... seeing his and hearing about everyones- how little fuel they use for the long smokes ... had to build one!!

    and if anyones wondering the fittings are black pipe... i just "chrome painted em'

    they are not galvy...

    Didnt weld any....

    gonna weld feet on charcoal basket tho...

    can make feet without welding ....

    i used 1/4" x 6" eye bolts to hold up the basket
