My GOSM's burner shot. It shoots tall yellow flame. Where can i buy a replacement?

Assuming that you have checked for a restriction in the gas line, a spider web in the orifice or venturi, you might try Landman USA, they took over GOSM, I also saw somewhere that a fellow Q'er that lived not far from an old GOSM plant had some burners to sell, might try a search for GOSM burners, ...when I bought my GOSM from the ACE Hardware I asked about replacement parts, they said it wouldn't be a problem, they order from Ace Hardware in Carson CA (310) 603 2800, might try them.

Hope this helps,

Gene

well, i just ended up pickingup a Perfect Flame from lowes on clearance. $119 w/ the really heavyduty cast iron chip pan. thanks for all input. I am going to mod. the GOSM to get it work (it was always a little to small so i was looking for an excuse to by a little bigger) and take up to my bro's cabin. it will get used 1-2 a year. good enough.

I could only hope that my burner goes out so I can go buy that new smoke vault I want so bad. The wife says go for it but I'm the one dragging my feet.

Pick up a single burner propane stove from Northern Tool. I converted my Charcoal GOSM that way, feeding the gas line thru the lower vent. Works really well and gives me some high heat when needed.
