Ginger/Teriyaki Dipping Sauce
My wife makes a Ginger/Honey/Teriyaki Sauce that we use for all kinds of things. She eyeballs everything in this recipe so I don't have any measurements.

Fresh Ginger, peeled, grated, squeezed in cheesecloth. Use the juice only.
Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce. You may want to use Kikkoman Soy Sauce instead.
Honey or Brown Sugar
Red Pepper Seeds
Sesame Oil (tiny bit)
Fresh Garlic

She brings everything to a simmer in order to melt the ingredients together. If you plan to use it right away you can thicken it with a corn starch mixture. Do the corn starch in water first, then add that slurry to the sauce. If you are going to keep the leftover dipping sauce in the refrigerator, don't do the corn starch part.

You can also add Apricot Preserves to this recipe.

Play with this recipe, you'll be glad you did.

I'm new here so no pictures yet. Just bought a new smoker and I'm still seasoning /testing it. I'm so new that this is only my post #3.
