HOLY CRAP......these are some stubborn BUTTS.....I truly believe I have gone though 2 stalls.  Going on 17 hours!!!  Im at 190F sheesh

I did make it......and didn't foil.....just took much longer.  Finally they finished and I popped them into a cooler and slept for 2 hours.....then pulled.

Pulled and ready for the party on Sat.  Wife will reheat using Chef JJ's finishing sauce (Thanks JJ) and serve to a gaggle of Baby Shower ladies

Loooooong smoke.....but the flavor of these butts is awesome.  Well worth the extra time it took, but I'm still tired......well that and the beer I drank last night LOL

They look great. Sorry I jinxed you.. Two long stalls in 2 days by two different people.. Who would have thunk that..

But by the looks of the pics they turned out great..

  Like we say though.....it's done when its done.....and NOT before.

You just never know, I normally figure 22 hours on a 10lb butt, Basically put it in the smoker today so I can eat at the same time tomorrow.

Then the butt decides to throw you a curve, my last 10 butt cooked at 220 and was at 203 IT in 13 hours. You just never know. But I have not had one exceed 24 hours yet.

Nice job on that butt. Low and slow its just the best way for me to go. No hassle, no bother, no worry, no waste. No wasted energy ( I am saying my energy LOL) doing all that foiling and injected stuff. Hey its lucky I even take the time to rub....LOL

Hey Scott, looks good, we have got a bunch of pecan seasoning up, should be ready in another month or so. I like cherry to when I can get it. Pretty much the way I do my butts no injection no brine just rub
