Galvanized tin windbreak ok?

Want to put a windbreak around all the legs of my smoke hollow propane smoker, wind keeps blowing it out and gas keeps coming. So I 4rally don't want a bomb.
I have a sheet of GALVANIZED TIN. Is it safe to put around the legs to block the wind. I've heard bad things that galvanized metal puts off when it gets too hot.

You're fine. You will have nowhere near the heat to worry about the zinc.
