I have been exposed to phosgene a few time while working on A\C systems... If you heat freon with a torch it creates phosgene gas. If you don't fully evacuate all of the freon out of an A\C system before you start soldering the copper lines you are gonna get gassed! Learned that the hard way

It feels like you have all of the oxygen sucked out of your body in one split second. Brought me right down on my knees! Really bad stuff, No joke!!!
