Thinking I want to have the ability to grill on the smoker trailer I'm building.

Maybe something like this http://pigroast.com/model80deluxe.htm
I think I'm going to have a warmer box above the firebox so a grill over the firebox is probably out.

Question for those that have a grill on their trailer:
What do you have and what do you like best about the setup you have? What do you wish you had different?

Instead of a big rectangular grill, I'm thinking of maybe a couple of Weber 22" kettle grills mounted without the legs might be more flexible. Thoughts on that?

Basically, looking for any insights from the folks with experience that have been there before.

Much thanks.

Stop into the Roll Call forum and intro yourself. We don't like to <but we WILL if forced> talk to strangers...;{)

And flexibility is key, but make sure you bend the right way...

Weber also make a larger kettle grill called the Ranch Grill. 37'5 inches of grill space for a mear $1000. Nice looking grill but 2-22in will give more grill space and save about $800.

Thanks icruzen. I know some folks love that Weber Ranch kettle but I'm with you, I just can't see the cost per square inch ratio. I'm as big a Weber kettle fan as there is but if I did that I think I'd go with 2 or 3 22.5 inchers and save a ton of money.
