They just got beat by Belguims hahahaha just joking.I wish they had played the whole game like the last 30 mins of overtime.They did go alot farther then most thought they would.The USA team can hold their heads up high.

There is where they lost the game.  They don't press the other teams.  That's why they lost to Germany.  The U.S.A. know they are new to the game so they seem to focus on defense.  They are trying not to get BEATEN rather than focusing on WINNING,  you saw what happened when they had nothing to lose.  TOTALLY different team and TOTALLY different play.  One of the best games I have seen in the Cup.  Won't be long before the Cup resides in the U.S.A..  WELL done guys!  Keep Smokin!

I just started watching the game myself the last few years.In Colombia you watch Soccer or nothing .So none of you hard core fans take any of my comments serious I am a rookie fan hahahahahahah

Have to admit I actually enjoyed watching the World Cup games. Really get into it, yelling at the screen for them to just pick up the $%#@ ball and run for the end zone. One of these days I might even learn the rules of the game.

I tried watching a soccer game but got bored so I went outside and watched the grass grow. A lot more thrilling. If I wanted to watch a group of men try to score for 90 minutes I would go to a singles bar.

Hello.  Here in England it is THE game, not much more is televised.  If you want REALLY boring and a game that only the folks playing understand, try watching Cricket???  I DO know the rules of soccer ( if you want a headache try understanding the off side rule! ) because I got roped in to coaching back when my kids were young, 20 yrs. ago; but I gotta admit I only watch soccer when the U.S.A. are playing because the game is too slow. Gotta support the home team no matter the sport!  BUT!  FYI folks,  The U.S.A vs Germany game had more folks watching in the States than did the NBA final!  AND they are throwing more money at the game.  It's up and coming and us old folks may as well get used to it.

I've been a Dallas fan since before the early 70's when they regularly had to battle the Packers up there in the North Pole blizzards.  Keep Smokin!

How long is a game of Baseball, and on average how my Home Runs ( think that's the right term for scoring)! Are scored?

It's about as long as it takes to cook a Boston Butts and and you wouldn't want to sit and watch that!

Touché! Baseball is definitely a slow game. More akin to single combat of pitcher vs. hitter with frequent naps than an active team sport. Games are about 3 hours. Scoring *runs* is more frequent than soccer. Home runs (when the ball is hit over the outfield fence) about the same as soccer. Did I mention the naps?

Hello.  OH YEAH!  No argument here.  LOVED to PLAY baseball when I was younger but can't STAND watching a game.  Same with golf.  Love to play, but I just flick on the OPEN or MASTERS during adverts to see leaders and watch highlights.
