Floating Tri Tip

Discussion in 'Grilling Beef' started by ejbreeze, Sep 24, 2011.

  1. We are on the boat this weekend and without a smoker but we do have a grill.  So what better than a tri tip?  Cooked it indirectly at about 275 for 2 hours then seared it when it reached 130 degrees.  Food just taste better when your on a boat.

Now thats a cool boat and I love boats and food does taste better on a boat. I always had a grill on my boat when I would go out in the Pacific and grill my bergers....no boat now...[IMG]   Your Tri-Tip looks great...

  8. Thanks guys.  It's turning out to be a nice weekend with baby backs planned for dinner.
