First Tri Tip

You did those tri tips justice excellent job!! I never seen tri tips here until I got hooked up with a food service supply company locally.
I buy them by the case now at $3.99 a pound.

I'm making 4 of them today. Two are marinating in my mojo marinade for fajitas and the other two will be reverse seared.
Grilling them on the open fire on my Santa Maria.

Hi I was in Seabras   last Sunday and got the Top Sirlion Cap, didn't see any Tri Tips..Maybe next time I'll look for them.

The Top Sirion Caps were really good. Richie  what did the Tri Tip cost? I saw them in Whole Foods for $10.99 lb

Sirloin Cap is a Tri Tip from what I have read

Top sirloin cap is what the Brazilians call Picanha. It is great, but it is not tri-tip. Tri-tip comes from the bottom sirloin.
