First Time Using a Electric Smoker

Discussion in 'Roll Call' started by ontarioryan, Jun 8, 2013.

  1. Hey everyone, just bought my first smoker on Thursday night, seasoned it on Friday and Saturday started smoking. I visited this site for first time yesterday and was hooked.

I had never heard of 3,2,1 BBQ method before yesterday, tried it this afternoon and I couldn't be happier with how my first attempt on my new smoker turned out. Had Dad over for his 68th birthday and the whole family was impressed with the ribs & wings the smoker produced. My first time out and I looked like a seasoned pro all thanks to the advice I read on this site.

Can't wait to read more, keep applying what everyone's experience teaches me and enjoying great BBQ.

    Thanks

    Ryan

Hello fellow Canadian. I have had the same experience with this forum. I bought my smoker last fall and struggled for a couple of months till I found this forum. Since then, I have found so much information in the posts and got so much help from the kind members. I hope you enjoy the forum as much as I have.
