Was visiting my son in Utah this weekend and he commented how he really missed my Ribs. Problem is he only has a Natural Gas grill but what the heck I went and bought a smoke bow and a bag of Cherry wood chips. Prepared the ribs just like I would for my offset, soaked the chips laid the box with 1 end on a burner and gave it a whirl. Must say I was surprised that the chips lasted about 2 1/2 hours. didn't get the smoke ring I would on my offset but after the chips ran out I wrapped them and let them go at 210 for about 3 1/2 hrs and they were moist and dang tasty . Who would of Thunk It ??

It should work the same.  Heat is heat, whether it's coming from natural gas, wood, or an electric element.  You got the smoke you needed, and the time you needed, so they should have been good.
