i can see it's a lot of labor, but when it comes to food, it's a labor of love
you know, it never occured to me to make my own, but seeing this, i just might give it a try. for me, cooking and messin' around with peppers is almost as satisfying as smokin' meats
when i moved into my house eight or so years ago, i noticed the original owner left a dehydrator in the garage. never bothered checking it out, but i think i'm gonna go see if it actually works.
While I know this post is relatively old, I was curious to know if it is possible to achieve this level of "dryness" in JUST a smoker? Or do the peppers have to be transferred to a dehydrator?
