First bacon

    I used Bardley cure with 3 variations. One I bagged and added brown sugar salt and water then bagged for ten days.


    Another I used carry alongs and used Bradley brown sugar and maple syrup.


    The last is dry cure only!


    Too salty! Put in a rinse to soak![​IMG]

    I have noticed I have uneven smoke in my smoker. Some was over smoked and some was just right. Guess I have a ways to go to learn my smoker.

    good looking bacon AZ- only store bought I get is for abt's etc. once y start making your own u don't go back.

    Man, all of these bacon smokes are scaring me, I am afraid if I ever try it I will only eat my own bacon.
