Newbee to forum,

I have gone through 4 store bought smokers, the R2D2 type smokers, great success, but have decided to step in up a few notchs. I got a 250 propane tank for a smoker build.

But here is my delema, where do I put the fire box, yea I can build a square on and stick it on the end of the tank and make a cross flow or make a tank and stick it on the lower back of the tank and make vertical heat.   I am trying to build and place the fire box where I have the best heat distrubtion I can get without hot spots, any and all ideas will help a lot

Thanks
