Father's Day Smoker

Well the kids got me a Brinkmann electric smoker for father's day. I have never had one before and need some help.

I have put it together and cure the smoker per the directions.

Are there and mods I shuld be thinking about?

I am not sure about which smoker you have. But I sure there is someone with it on here. The best advice I can give you is try your smoker out the way it is now and go from there. See how it works first for a base line then you can mod it from there and you will be able to tell if the mods improved the unit for you or not. Also read all the posts on here that you can, lots of great info to be had here. I have learned alot by reading all the posts I can and not just ones about electric smokers.
