Eye of Round & Fatties qview

    Today I smoked some eye of round using some grill mates steak rub -I pulled it at 150. Family loved it wife said she liked it better then the pulled pork(she's crazy). I used Jake Daniels wood chips to somke it with.

    I also did a fatty- filled it with canadian bacon some mushrooms and mozzarella cheese and Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning.




    I put some bacon on later for taste and to keep juicy and everything taste better with bacon

    Props Niniron! Hate to admit but I'd side with your wife on her choice of beef over pork. Nothing like a great smoked piece of beef!!!

    That's nice man.. Awesome feast!!!
    Can I ask ya what you thought of the JD wood chips?
    Always wondered about those.

    I really couldn't taste much smoke flavor with the JD but it did give off a great smell. I don't know if i will use JD again
