has a customer at work give me some boneless turkey breasts, is there a way to smoke them?
Yes, I've done them numerous times.
Smoked mine for 3 hours at 225°, wrapped in foil and finished in the oven a until the internal hit 165°
I injected with a mix of garlic, butter and sprite
Makes great leftovers
That sounds good i am going to have to give this a try.. thanks
Try wrapping the turkey breasts with some bacon, that will help keep them nice and juicy too! Then smoke them at 225-250 untill they reach a IT of 165.
I like the bacon idea. I have smoked quite a few & they make great sammies.
I make turkey pastrami out of them.
cure wth my corned beef recipe, then season and smoke
just like beef pastrami with cherry wood
