Doing the butt...

So I am going to smoke a butt today. I was just thinking though. Has anyone injected some flavor into it? thinking butter, seasoning and chipotle tobassco?

Any ideas?

Yes to all, i use pineapple juice alot, with what everelse strikes me, worchy sauce,soy ,hotsauce, even many diff forms of adult beverages.
Its trial and eat thing to find the flavor you like.

Thanks for the info... its in the fridge with a nice rub on it now. i might inject a little love into it later. Do you inject just before going in or early?

I don't inject more than a hour prior to smoken' i think you run the risk of mushing you meat, and some injects i do as i'm putting it on because of the mush factor.

Iowa did look good even if we did lose 2 good receivers for the season due to legal issues, apperently they did'nt know there names, their from the Detroit area, one of them was awsome last year as a true freshman.

Ouch on the recievers! I hate it when I forget my name. Well the other college team I follow is Florida. they had an easy team and it was a slaughter. kinda nice ;)
