I may have to look into that some day.
Today is that day...

Todd has them on sale right now. Not sure how long it lasts, so "buy early, buy often!"

I won't buy anything else from Todd at A-MAZE-N moving forward and can't in good conscience suggest others do either.  I ordered an AMNPS (or whatever the acronym is) and Todd emailed me to tell me that it probably wouldn't work well at my elevation and talked me into ordering one of his 12" tubes instead.  I went ahead and ordered based on his advice and upon arriving I promptly fired it up to smoke a pork shoulder overnight.  I was surprised to see that at one point waking up at night the temp of my smoker had increased some 100deg over where I set it and the tube had basically flared up & caused my temps to sky rocket.  I emailed Todd several times over several weeks about the issue and have yet to receive a response.  I have to admit that I'm not very happy as I spent about $50 (pellets as well) for this setup with the expressed use of being able to smoke overnight w/o having to get up every 30min to add smoke chips.  I have read nothing but positive things from this company and had even ordered a couple of previous orders from them that went off w/o a hitch but I'm upset by my customer service or lack thereof when I actually had an issue.  Maybe others have had good experiences but I can't in good conscience recommend them to anyone else since I'm basically out $50 w/o any form of resolution nor anyone even returning my attempts to contact in an effort to offer resolution of some sort.  If I was anyone reading this considering an AMNPS or any of their similar pellet devices I would strongly urge you to keep your money and keep using chips.

I got the tray and am very happy with it.

Some companies have awesome customer service due to their products always being returned and they have lots of practice.  Some companies have really bad customer service, but their products never need it, so they have no practice.

I do know from owning a business, you can not please all of the people all of the time.  I do hope Todd gets back to you.  I am sure he will make it good.  I can say that I am sufficiently impressed with my AMNPS that I plan on getting another one for my daughter.

The only issue I have had has been that I couldn't get it lit, but I don't have a propane torch and my oxy torch is frozen.  So not the fault of the tray.

A clean smoker rack is a rusty smoker rack. I heat my smokers up to smoke that stuff off there and then vigorously brush with my awesome weber super brush. If you need them cleaner you can hit them with wadded up foil. Cleaner yet and cut a lemon in half and rub.  I would probably give up if I had to keep everything restaurant shiny all the time. sheesh. By the way I will take that tube smoker off you for 10 bucks. lol I don't think home smoking is set it and forget it ever dude. Too many variables there and you should have temperature probes that alert you when something is awry. Just my opinion. Have you tried experimenting with that tube smoker? watched it to see what it does? Those are some pretty harsh statements there for a guy I have heard literally hundreds of good reviews about. He is easily reachable and a member of this forum as well.

Did you PM on here? Did you call him?

I do know when I bought my dust smoker I had trouble with it. I sent in a PM and he called me on a weekend to help me.

He was in the process of moving and is very busy.

No, we had emailed back and forth several times so it appeared to be his preferred method of contact.  I find it unusual that he was quick to respond to those if it wasn't a working method of contact.  Also a bit odd that as soon as I requested some customer service he stopped responding.

OK, like I said I have had only good experience with Todd.

I am sure it will work out.
