This is my first attempt at Beef Ribs.I had two racks of short beef ribs from our local butcher shop. Thawed them out along with a pork butt and rubbed both down with "Bad Byron's Buttt Rub"  Let them rest overnight in the fridge.[IMG]

I smoked them around 225-235 with Cherry wood (1st time) and loved the wood!!!

Here they are just before I started spritzing them.  I would have spritzed them sooner, but my oldest son had his first soccer game.

I did a 3-2-1 method and here they are just after pulling.

    All sauced up

Not as much meat as I had hoped for...

Here is the pork butt after a very short rest.  This thing took 16 hours to get to 200 degrees.  Everyone was hungry...including me!

All pulled ready for the plate.

Looks excellent, I tried Dino's once, more bone than meat.

Our Safeway had frozen beef ribs on sale yesterday at about $1.89 per pound.  It looked to me like they had been through a meat scraper!  Hardly any meat left on them -- especially in comparison to the pork rib sides I have bought.
