I am talking specifically the episode where he challenges Buz from Buz and Nedâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s Real BBQ restaurant to a rib challenge. They showed how Buz seasons his ribs, which was a combination of some very basic ingredients, but they did not specify quantities, of course. Any of you have any ideas on how much of each of these items would work well together? This is something I would like to try.
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Sugar (White)
Garlic
All of these ingredients were then mixed together and Worcestershire sauce is poured over it to make it a basting sauce rather than a rub. Then he brushes the ribs with it.
I have no idea how much of each ingredients would be a good complement together. Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m certain they would be delicious.
Maybe I should post this in a second post but I will try this first…
Also, I just purchased Jeffâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s rub. I was wondering if using smoked paprika would work just as well as plain paprika. What do you think? I have a big container of it and hate not to use it.
