Damn It Chicken Thighs Dry Cured And Rubbed With Plum Jelly & Sypup W/Qview

    The damn it is because I had been thinking about sinking my teeth into a couple of these tonight all day. After I rubbed in the cure with brown sugar I remembered that my last batch cured for six hours. Aint happening tonight I guess.

    Anyway, here they are rubbed.

    I guess I'll rinse them at midnight, and apply the syrup and plum jelly. Back into the zip lock till tomorrow night.

    Damm,[​IMG] I could taste them all day.

    Guess I'll just have to settle for a Capacola, or pulled pork sammie.[​IMG]

    I just rinsed 3 times and added some syrup and some plum jelly. I guess this will be a marinade.

    Ron,
    plum jelly sound like a very yummy addition to the thighs along with the syrup...i can't wait to see the end, plated!

    sounds good I would have never thought to use syrup.

    I have used that syrup on my pancake fatty, and few other things with nice results.

    First time for the plum jelly though.

    Just have to see.
