I took the wife to San Antonio to the riverwalk to celebrate our 25th anniversary. One of the nights we went with some friends who live near Dallas to a restaurant call the County Line BBQ. They had a line out the door and there was a 45 minute wait. I have no idea why. There was a table of Texans next to us and they also could not figure it out. This was the most dried out bitter pork, brisket and ribs I have ever tasted.

The only thing I can figure is that we got some bad BBQ or we hit them on a bad night. I looked them up on the internet and they have several restaurants. Give me Famous Daves over these guys any day. Has anyone else eaten there? I am hoping with the line it was just a bad batch we had. I can't beleive that many folks could stand in line for this food if this is their regular fare

Well to me and I'm not standing up for them but it's the hardest thing to do with bar-b-bue is to keep it hot without it dring out. After all we all here smoke and eat the meat at the prime time of the preparation. I know cause I cann't and don't eat bbq anyway but at one restaurnat ad thats because I know the owner and I go just to partinizer her place.

We went there when we were on vacation in San Antonio after hearing about the place. We also went to the one on the River Walk. Was not all that great for the price you paid. People talk good about the place. Maybe the one on the river walk is for all the tourists.
