TEMPLE CITY, SO CALIFORNIA
I could not wait for this weekend after Patricks q-vue of his chix smoked with mango wood...
I am smoking two chickens one is in a papaya mango brine with a little curry. The other is in a jerk chix brine with cherry cider. When they come out after getting happy and rubbed down I will post some q-vue..
My fatties will be on fattie page....Happy weekend everyone!
Thanks again Patrick!!! now send me some mango wood!!

Another exotic and drool-on-the-tongue smoke by BBQG!!!! Geesh lady, if this is the type of stuff you're pourin' on after Jr. won a race, a true cook-off is to be had by all if he can win the whole kit-and-kaboodle in Homestead, in December!!!

he normally does not do so well on the road course...however, we will see today...consistant racing, no dnf's we are contenders BABY!! There is some talk around here about changing the second Cali speedway race (Sept night race) to later on in the year to make it one of the chase races, plus it wont be blazing hot for them...If they add more banking to this track I would say heck yeah! but alas, Cali speedway remains...BORING...LOL!

2 papayas - seeded
1 mango
3 garlic cloves
mixed in the blender add a little mango nectar to thin it out

1/2 cup koshar salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 or 3 cups water
4 tbls madras curry
heated in a pan to get everything to dissolve
let cool, added the blended papayas a couple of shots of worcestershire sauce
put it into my bucket with the bird and added more mango nectar
and now we will see....keep your fingers crossed...I am using cherry wood
