I was thinking about taking a high pressure washer to the inside of my pit next spring to clean any lose particles that may be in there from when I purchased it and after cooking in for the second year, was wondering if anybody else has done this.  Would I need to fire it up right afterwards to and re season it?

Any insight would be great.

Thanks

My bad I think I might of put this under the wrong category.  Sorry to the upper administrators if I did.

From my personal experience, I'd recommend against using a pressure washer.  Tiny holes tend to appear where there were none before.  I'd just break out the trust ol' wire brush and go to town.  Of course, down here in the south rust is an ever present nemesis.
