Chuckies in the Smoker! QViews...

    Yum.  Whatcha gonna do with them?  Make pulled beef sammies, chuckie tacos, chuckie sloppy joes, put it in some chili.....?

  12. Well the Chuckies got done last night around 10, and after sitting in a cooler for about 2 hours, i pulled them. The one I thought was gonna be the better one before cooking was not. Oh there both tender and juicy, just the second one was amazingly more. I decided to pull last night and put in a cover pan overnight. Will have some BBQ sammi's tonight and some enchiladas tomorrow... Yum! I will post food pics as we have em. In the meantime here are the pics of one out of the foil and the finished pulled Chuckie.  [​IMG]

    Very nice.  I think letting smoked meat rest and cool  results in a better flavor.  I like putting mine in a roasting pan as opposed to just setting the meat on the rack.  Much less clean up too.
  16. What's good on a chuckie sammie ?

    I did some pulled chuck a few weeks ago for the first time and tried using some mayo on kaiser rolls but I'm sure that's sacrilege.  I tried hot sauce too.  That was tasty.
  17. Ok well here are the creations.. It was so good. The sammi's with toasted buns on the grill and just Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce was awesome. Had a slice of sharp Cheddar on the bottom! YUM...

    Chuckie meat is gone... NOTE TO SELF: do not have to eat all the smoked meat on the same weekend!!!!!!!!!!!


    Hahaha! OK sorry, I thought it was funny. I ate the first sammi and forgot the pic!


    2nd BBQ sammi...


    Chuckie Enchiladas.. I Didn't care for the red sauce as much as I like the green sauce, but they were still very tasty!

    It's 6:51 am and I'm already to jump through the screen and eat that plate for breakfast.  Mmmmmmm......Mmmmmmmm... Guuuuuuuuuuud!!!!

    Looks like I'm going to have to smoke some more today.  Got two small pork shoulders ready for the smoker.
