I finally got the chuckies in the smoker today.

The total weight is 7.4 lbs. The one on the right is rubbed with evoo, cbp, garlic, and salt. It will be smoked for a couple of hours, then go in the crock pot for pot roast tonight. The one on the left is rubbed with mustard and Richtee's rub. I'm using hickory today. They will be smoked at about 250o.

Looks good! I've got a chuckie started this morning as well, but my wife hauled the dig. camera to her sister's to take pictures of our new nephew, so no Q-view til later. I'll post when it's done. I'm trying my chuckie seared on the grill first, then smoked.

Dawn ... Tick Tock Tick Tock ....

If you saw my final QVIEW post, I think it was just not the best piece of meat.

Funny they both look blurred to me :)
look good ITB, when do ya figure they'll be done?

The one with Richtee's rub was at 193. I checked it in 3 places, lol. That one cooked fast. It is now resting comfortably in a cooler after having been foiled and wrapped in a towel. The evoo one is stuck at 153 for a while now. I gave it a flip, see how that does.

They were only about 3 3/4 lbs each so I'm hoping it won't be one of THOSE chuckies, lol.

Gee, your pics look so good, I'm going to have to go out and buy some chuck. Thanks for sharing and keep us posted with some details.
