Gonna be a long night babysitting these babies!
Good luck I thjnk you made a wise choice chopping them down to size.
Got beer to keep you busy?
Yes, but think of it as an peaceful tranquil chance to contemplate the universerve and the meaning of life.
Have you got enough ice?
yes plenty of beer and ice!!
I believe so to! Hopefully only a ten or so hour cook versus 24 hours
Are they done yet????? I'm getting hungry!!!
yeah done and ate! Haha! Only who knows how many more hours to go ;-)
So they are on?
Yes they are on Adam! No pics till they are on at least 4/5 hours. You know the saying if you're looking you're not cooking.
Good boy. Lol.
What ya cooking on.
Cooking on the big girl tonight! She hasn't gotten much attention lately so had to cheer her up.
About 5 1/2 hours in and looking good. Smokey is holding 250 like a champ and the meat is at 155. Another hour and they will all be going for a swim in some beef broth. Will get a pic before putting them in the pool.
Chuck moved to the top and on with the ribs! It has been a long night! Only thing left to go in the chamber is some chicken (3 whole and a pack of thighs) for chopped chicken.
Load em up! Why not all thighs for chopped chicken? Or are the wholes for pieces?
I thought about that afterwards while I was tearing the chicken apart. Turned into pulled chicken
Yeah I use all thighs for chopped/pulled chicken. Lately I've been skinning them and then smoking. Works great!
The finished ribs from friday night's cook. Forgot to take a pic of the Chuck all pulled. Everyone at the baby shower really seemed to love the food which always makes me proud and happy to do what I do. Thanks for looking.
Well , at least we got a peek at the meat... Wish there were more ...
Looked good and I know it was good. Next time , take your camera to the cookshack with you .
Have fun and . . .
here is a look at the thighs before pulling
and after pulling
