  1. Hi My name is Ron. I have been stumbling around your site after I was happy to find it.I like the civility on this site after watching all that is going on with the election. I haved lived in Ca,Tx,Mi, Mn, Fl and now back in MN.I have been Eating most of my life at least Mom said that when I got teeth. I have cooked on almost anything since the Boyscout days.My wife is full German and had never ate any type of food butt that till we got married 35yrs ago. I am just starting to get in to Sauage making and cold smoking. I did the E course and enjoyed it Found some that I knew and some that I knew and did not why. Great Job on that.I in the process building a cold smoker my son found a old milk dispenser it just told me it wanted to cold smoke rather than give milk.I will send pic. when I start.

First off welcome to SMF there Ron. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
