charcoal in propain smoker

i was wondering if well i could take some charcoal and put in a coffee can with some holes in and burn a little charcoal in there not much just maybe 4 or 5 pieces at once just to kind of give a little charcoal flavor ........i got a smoke hollow cabinet smoker

Most definetly!! Taste better than gas......

Might even notice a better smoke ring!
