Char Griller Wood Pellet questions

  1. Please help. No smoke on cook mode. Need advice im new to wood pellet smokers

  2. I believe the smoke mode gives you more smoke and then you switch to cook. You don't want white smoke pouring out the stack, it should be a thin bluish smoke almost unnoticeable. If you want to add more smoke, look into the AMNTS tube smoker. You add pellets to that and will get a heavier smoke flavor.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, I have a Yoder and I just set it and forget it. I do use either a 6" or 12" AMNTS once in a while but very rarely these days. My family is fine with the smoke flavor we get without the tube smoker.

  3. My friend has a Traeger and he said his smokes even on cook mode. Everything ive made a been good for the most point just seem to have to babysit the smoker more than I should. Thanks for the reply. Any information is better then none.
    Thanks-Lucas
