I agee!!! I HATE WINTER!!!!! The only good thing about winter is I need a cooler to keep my beer from freezing!

you know, i used to hate winter. then i experienced a day when the temp hit 109. stepping into high altitude sun felt like death.

now, i love winter.

i think hiding in the house made winter worse for me. when i spend more time outdoors i like it better.

here's a tip. spend tons of money on top quality winterwear, especially gloves n boots. this works.

I second that. I make a trip now and then over to Dillon mt. for cut rate Patagonia long underwear and stuff. Man it makes all the difference in the world. Smoking CSR's right now and it is 21 out.

I can attain the same thing by just putting the beer in the freezer and sitting by the fireplace watching the snow fall from the window.  Just sayin

I have all that stuff now.  I just prefer to sit around in the warmer months in a speedoo (just kiddin cause that wouldn't be a pretty sight) and a cold brew.  LOL.  I'd rather be sweatin.  Just my preference.

south dakota here, and i love winter. its been subzero here for almost 2 weeks. i run a field service truck for heavy equipment so its been brutal. but winter time means its time to hunt and i get to kill these to put on the smoker.

nice catch. i used to have doubts about hunting deer, til i saw what stiff hunting regulations did in western new york. the damn things were everywhere. you couldn't grow a garden. twice i hit one causing thousands of dollars in damage. i could have been killed.

i think the deer were starving.

ill make sure i take pics when i smoke this backstrap. it was 46 inches long so alot of meat just need to find a good recipe.

Just did my first smoke some of jeffs asparagus stuffed smoked chicken breasts and i must say what a treat ,The cold weather really makes it tough to get the temp up and hold but i made it through......i hope the weather gets warmer cuz this smoking is the bomb
