How much do you think it will cost to build a smoker on a trailer? I can get a 500 gallon propane tank for $125. Is it cheaper to built your own trailer or to find a new or used one? Went to my first BBQ competition in Terrell, Texas and it was awesome. I saw some awesome rigs. Also, what is your recommendation for using a propane tank? thanks

I want to back up T-Hunter on that. Fill with water for safety. Cut with a cutting wheel in a grinder like the OCC boys cut everthing. Old trailers are around start hunting down alleys and on outskirts of town. Maybe go by the junker guys place. Every town has that guy. 12 pack of suds might buy it. Good luck.

Wanted to add one more place to look for a tank. If you have a air compressor manufacturer somewhere near by check there. My brother in law sells compressors so I found one thru him.

What does the bleach and water help with? thanks for your help.

The solution changes the smelly chemical thats in the tank to make propane smell---I hear it will turn orange in color when you drain it, but basically gets rid of that stuff that smells.
