So I got a Char-Griller Akorn as my grill wouldn't last the season.  I haven't tried low & slow on it (will today) but that thing is ridiculous at how well it holds heat.

Smoked at 250 until IT of ~120 (i overshot by 10° being distracted) then seared at 550-575° for 60s each side...rotating 45° at each 30s mark.  A little overdone for my taste, but ermahgerd they were juicy and tasty as hell.

Wow! Those look great! What cut is it?

I have an Akorn too, only for a few weeks. I've done ribs twice, steaks and pizza. I'm impressed how well it holds temps, and how little charcoal it uses.
