Well the brisket turned out great. It wasn't dry or crumbly. Great flavor. WOW very impressed. Sorry didn't get a picture of it as I was cutting. My question is though that although it had a great smoky flavor, I didn't have a smoke ring. Any ideas?
My electric smoker is a smokette, and I can't get a smoke ring using it, but It has great flavor. I was concerned about smoke ring at first, but now its like "Who cares" long as the flavor is there

I have no problem getting a smoke ring with my offset, and I have even considered putting brisket on it for the first 3 hours, just to get a smoke ring
