Hello Everyone,

Is there anyone on this forum who can help me identify which smoker I have? It was my dad's and I inherited it after he passed away. Its been a great smoker even though, as you can see, I've not taken the best of care of it. I'd like to spruce it up, and get it back into service and the first thing I need to do is order a new firebox for it since this has rusted through...

The problem is, I don't know what it is? I think its a Brinkmann Smoke N Pit but when I went to their site, I couldn't find any pictures of this. I see some that are close, and am hoping I find a replacement firebox before going out and having to buy a new smoker. I'd like to keep this one and get it back into service. The thing is, Brinkmann wants a model number and I cannot find it stamped anywhere on the smoker. On their site they reference the owner's manual - which unfortunately, I do not have... A new firebox, some fresh paint and replacement grills and I should be good to go! Oh yes - and a heavy-duty cover! :D

Many thanks and best regards to all,

Luther

Never mind everyone, I've found my answer. Its a Brinkmann and there are no fireboxes to be had any longer.

Best regards to all,

Luther

I'd love to but honestly I've no idea where I'd take it. How would you match the radius of the fire box unless, you don't and just square off the bottom? Actually, I'd have no problem with that... just not sure where to take it... How would you approach this? I would think a custom fabricating shop would be pretty pricey? I'm open to any suggestions as I'd much rather get this going again than to buy a replacement... I've been planning on using this as a smoker and acquiring a Weber Performer to use as a grill...

Franklin's in Austin is on my bucket list! :D

Many thanks for the response,

Luther
