Bratwurst

  1. I'm looking to smoking some bratwurst this weekend, does anyone have any tips or info about smoking them. What grill temp? What internal temp? What type of wood?

Smoke at 225+ to an internal temp of 165. Any fruit or nut wood will work and the cook will take about 2 hours...JJ

If you use direct heat it will only take about 20-25 minutes to cook. If you want to smoke it use indirect heat & keep the temp low.

  5. Thanks Al I will keep that in mind, I'll most likely do indirect so I can get some good smoke on them
