I am new to smoking. I just bought my first smoker and a new grill. Weber one touch silver 22.5 and brinkmann smoke n grill. I saw those were the most popular here that were in my price range. I am still waiting on them. I can't wait to start. I got a great deal at ace hardware. I need to mod out the smoke n grill. Where do I get all the stuff. Also, I only got day one of the 5 day ecourse. I need the other four days. I am really looking forward to learning all about this. Any tips on where to go next?

Dave welcome to SMF glad you decided to join us. Congrats on the new smoker. You'll find lots of good info and some great recipes here. I sent you a PM that should take care of the Ecourse for you.

Welcome aboard, Dave!

Next steps are to just jump in and smoke something! Good ideas for your first smoke could be ribs using the 3-2-1 method or chicken/chicken thighs. Relatively short smokes.

Can't wait to see what you decide.

Welcome to SMF. This a great forum. Very helpful and inspiring group of people on here. The 5 Day E-Course is great for new guys. I took it when i first started roughly 1-1 1/2 months ago. Cover's the need to know basics pretty good. I took my own notes on each e-mail, printed them out, and look back on them when needed.

Good luck with the new Smoker and Post pics of the good's when you start smoking!
